about swarovski crystal jewellery
Born to a glass cutter in North Bohemia, Czech Republic, Daniel Swarovski completed a two year apprenticeship in his father's small factory. Here he gained expertise in cutting glass. During this time in 1892, he invented a machine that revolutionised the process of crystal cutting and developed a polishing technique that gives their crystals a transparent and bright reflective quality to the finished product.
In 1977, Swarovski first entered the jewellery and fashion market, starting with the United States. More than a decade later, it spread to Great Britain and the erst of Europe. The fantastic, subtle jewelllery pieces we have on our site are inspired by Swarovski's stunning crystals. Swarovski crystals are among the most cherished in today's fashion world.

About Crystal
Crystal dates back to Mesopotamia. Its intended use was for jewelry, pottery, and decorations. The artisans of the time experimented by adding lead to the glass to be able to change its characteristics. They were able to produce a silvery item that with careful cutting became beautiful crystal.
Originally, crystal was produced for chandeliers and later stemware. Artisan realized that the beauty and elegance of crystal could be crafted into jewelry such as pendants and earrings. This was the forefront to the industry today where crystal is used to create exquisite jewelry, and Swarovski jewelry it the leader in the market.
Crystals have served another purpose throughout the millennia that has lead to the current belief that crystals stimulate healing.
There are people who are convinced that there are healing properties that can be credited to using a specific combination of stones. For this reason, Swarovski crystal jewellery is very highly sought.
